Van der Sar, Reiziger, Rijkaard, the De Boer brothers, Seedorf, Davids, Kluivert, Overmars …. Incredible line up when you think of it!
And of course don’t forget Kanu and Litmanen who left their mark on this final against the AC Milan from Berlusconi.
Another tactical wonder in this final from Louis Van Gaal who decided to replace Jari Litmanen by Patrick Kluivert in the 69th minute… less than 20 minutes later… Goal 1-0 for Ajax … End of the game. A golden generation got crowned!
